My Best Friend
If I had to pick anybody to write about, it would be my best friend in the entire world, Brad. We met on July 17,2006 and have been completely inseparable since then. Brad is a very hard-working person. He works at Worth Steel Company full time - 7:30 AM to 4 PM - every weekday. When he get off of work, he goes home to get ready for his night classes at Moraine Valley Community College, where he is getting a welding certificate to join the Iron Workers Union. Brad does this every Monday through Friday. On Saturday, he goes to school at 9 AM to noon. The way he handles his workload; calmly, gracefully, and happily, are all important reasons as to why he is such a major inspiration to me. Brad is only nineteen years old, but handles the stress of a working and in-school adult, and you have to include the stress of a typical teenager. He has barely any free time, but still finds time to make sure I am alright and things are going well. Brad does not view school or work as a challenge or a hassle, but he views them as an opportunity to test himself. He is the reason I am still sane in an insane world. When you can tell and show absolutely every flaw to someone and still be viewed as perfect, that is when you know that you have a true best friend. My best friend is Brad.
